It runs on the lower flange of the runway which is mounted directly on the ceiling and achieves maximum utilization of the available building width. The minimum clearance between the load hook and the side walls is lower than on any other crane.
The headroom is also extremely low. The crane bridges are offset in the case of wide spans and high S.W.Ls.
