The company was established on 10.11.1989 under the name of R. STAHL GesmbH., Conveyor systems, based in Linz and was a 100%-owned subsidiary of the R. STAHL Germany, an international group, division handling incorporated.
In 1992 the company moved from Linz to Steyregg, where the continuous-house design, fabrication, assembly, and the service was expanded.
In early 2006 it came in the worldwide business to a strategic realignment, and so was the STAHL Crane Systems GmbH created.
In May 2009 the company was created through an MBO:
